This Weekend in Georgia

This weekend the Cumming Steam, Antique Tractor, and Gas Engine Exposition is being held on Friday, November 7, and Saturday, November 8 at the Cumming Fairgrounds in Cumming, Georgia. The exposition features a working cotton gin, saw mill, shingle mill, and baker fan. Admission is five dollars, but free for kids under 13! Come on out; it'll be a gasser! For more information, visit the official website.

Down in Darien this weekend is the Darien Fall Fest! Don't miss the Boat Tour, Crab in a Crock taste contest, or the historic battle reenactment at Fort King George. The doors open at 10 AM on Saturday, November 8. An outdoor movie is to follow the day's activities. Admission and parking are free, and for more information visit Darien's website.

We know viewers of Georgia Traveler take their food seriously (how can anybody not?), so why not head on down to the Bremen Chili Cook-Off! It's too late to enter your own secret recipe, but the price of admission gets you all the chili you can eat! The pot opens at 10 AM on Saturday, November 8. Check out their website for details.

And those are just a few of this weekend's highlights. For more information, check out the new
