This Weekend in Georgia

This weekend the first annual Bulls and Barrels Blowout will be held in Monroe, Georgia. Doors open at 6 PM on Friday, November 14th, and 12 PM on Saturday, November 15th. Country singer Hannah Thomas, Southern Rockers County Line Band, and professional bull rider, Sean Willingham will all be featured. On both nights 25 of the top ranked bulls and riders from the Southern Extreme Bull Riding Association will be presented. Admission is $15, but parking is free! Come on down; it'll be a blast!


Also this weekend is the Festival of Lights begins at Wild Adventures Theme Park in Valdosta, Georgia. The event lasts from 3 PM to 9PM on Saturday, November 15th, and Sunday, November 16th. With over two million lights, it's the largest Christmas lights display in Georgia. Attractions include the Lake of Lights, Santa's live reindeer, and the Living Nativity. The Atlanta History Center presents Jim Henson's Fantastic World this Saturday, November 15th, and Sunday, November 16th. A special screening of The Dark Crystal will be held on Saturday, and Labryrinth will be shown on Sunday.
