The National Parks: America's Best Idea - A Day of Service and Celebration

Enjoy an entrance fee-free day at America's National Parks and Monuments in celebration of Ken Burns's new film, The National Parks: America's Best Idea. Visitors to America's 391 National Parks will enjoy free admission and a special screening of the new film, set to premiere on PBS and Georgia Public Broadcasting, Sunday, September 27. In addition to the film, visitors to Savannah's Fort Pulaski National Monument will see musket and cannon firing demonstrations, as well as special programs just for the kids. Go Bananas with Curious George and Doc Neil "The Banana Peel"

Visit GPB's headquarters in Atlanta this Saturday and Go Bananas with Curious George and Doc Neil "The Banana Peel." This kid-friendly event will feature episodes of "Dinosaur Train," as well as a chance to meet Curious George and Doc Neil from "What in a Doctor's Bag" in person!
